24 Karat Gold La Bew Bew?!

Ok. Look!! Wanna preface this. I don't even like those Labubu toys. And I think the people fighting and breaking stuff for them is annoying. But you know whats also annoying? People who cry overconsumption when somebody buys one of them with their hard earned money, first party or not. What's even funnier? They don't bat an eye when they see that someone bought their 102nd Hatsune Miku figure that they're gonna put on their shelf and look at maybe once a week. They don't bat an eye at the MLP figure collectors. They don't bat an eye at people who buy Hello Kitty stuff like crazy. They don't say ANYTHING about the people who go to thrift stores just to resell when people might need some of that stuff at the thrift. It's such a hilarious double standard. You buy 30 anime figures and your desk is "so cool!" and people wow at you, but you buy one trendy toy and that means you're an overconsumerist and it's gonna end up in a trash heap anyways. And you know what? They don't even say anything about the FACTORIES that harm the environment making literally all of these, Labubus included!! These people could give less of a shit about the environment or actual health, they want to judge the PEOPLE who spend their own god damned money. If you want to buy a Labubu, or ANYTHING listed here, go RIGHT ahead. It's not evil to buy stuff that you like. Nothing is the "mascot of overconsumption". Almost EVERYONE owns things that will go in a landfill one day, make the most of it. Labubu's. Anime figures. Pony toys. Phones. Laptops. TV's. Cars. All of that is not gonna be around forever. So you know what? If you have hard earned money, it's not someone elses place to judge what you buy. Stop pestering people about things that aren't your business.
